Chemical Peels @ Hidden Gem Luxury
Chemical peels use a controlled and buffered acid to help exfoliate and renew the skin. There are various types of acids used for chemical peels, and each has it own specific strengths and benefits. Peels will help diminish the appearance of dark spots (hyperpigmentation), large pores, fine lines and wrinkles, and helps with acne and acne scarring.
For best results, peels are done in a series of 4 to 8 treatments. Some mild peels can be done weekly depending on skin type, but stronger peels may only be performed once per month and may incur more visible peeling.
Many of our peels are have a facial add-on available, which includes extractions and full face acne spot treatment.
Types of Chemical Peels offered at Hidden Gem Luxury
How much you peel & how “spicy” the peel feels on the skin is rated 1-10 with 10 being most intense. As you progress through your treatment series, you will be able to handle additional layers of the peel. More layers = a deeper peel!
Silver
These peels are perfectly designed for a first-time peel experience, or a quick skin reset! Made so that you experience little to no visible peeling or downtime, but with brightening, acne clearing, skin smoothing results.

Silver level peels can be performed as often as once a week on most skin types with proper pre / post homecare products. Ask about package discounts and skincare memberships at checkout!
You are not required to be using professional or medical grade skincare prior to receiving SILVER level peels, but you will receive better results, faster with less potential for visible peeling if your skin is properly prepared.
Gold
These peels are a bit more intense, and can cause some visible peeling. They are best done every 2-6 weeks for a series of 4-8 total treatments. Popular peels of this level include:

It is STRONGLY recommended that you be using professional or medical grade skincare for 2-6 weeks PRIOR to your GOLD level peel. Skin that is not properly prepared will not be able to tolerate the peel, and it may need to be removed before the peeling process is complete to protect the integrity of the skin. SILVER level peels and our Signature Facials will also help to prep your skin for a chemical peel.

These are NOT starter peels! You MUST be on appropriate homecare and have prepped your skin with less intense peels or enzyme facials before receiving Diamond level peels to prevent damage to your skin. Popular peels of this level include:

These peels can help with deeper hyperpigmentation (dark spots) and pitted acne scarring, especially when alternated with microneedling treatments. These peels can be done every 4 to 8 weeks and a series of 4-6 treatments is typical.
